The building, in the heart of the historic Recanati city centre, was used as a working place and introduced itself as one only space, delimited only by pillars and beams. The apartment, organized on two floors, needed a complete project. The plan comprehended a central, regular area and another extended space, leaning towards the valley. In this area the architect comprehended the living room with the fireplace, where the windows, thanks also to the light curtains, give a panoramic view af all the countryside. Custom-made furnishings ad recycle also in this project, as in Fabrizia Frezza’s style: the architect’s pencil gave birth to the cozy sofas, upholstered with green decorated fabrics; the two Moors who hold a candelabra in golden patina, placed in the sitting room adjacent to the main hall, are antiques; all the other furniture has been decorated with pickeled and antiqued effect. An important element of the project is the double slide door, which separates the dining area from the kitchen; it is designed by the architect and decorated with a silver leaf, as all the other doors of the house, but, on the kitchen side, it is realized in Ardesia so it can be used as a large blackboard. Cornerstone of the house is exactly this room, with a double height, designed and studied in every detail as a clear request of the owner, a gourmet. The kitchen is defined by a big island in the center of the area, with a steel countertop, in clear contrast with the white furniture, and a big steel hood. Another wall, in its full height, comprehends ovens, the fridge and the air-conditioned wine cellars, while a brick oven is housed in a recessed and lowered corner with a barrel vault.
