The restoration starting point has been the location, a Maramaris bay, in the Dacta Peninsula. The structure introduced itself in an unharmonious way, both for the chromatic point of view and for the combination on materials. The customer’s request was headed towards three aspects: the stylistic recall of the Riccio restaurant in Capri, the fidelity to the local structural morphology and the furniture restyling coherent with the general design.
The project followed a stylistic redefinition with the purpose of maintaining the identity of the place and the structure itself.
With the aim of recalling the Capri restaurant keynotes, the inside flooring has been replaced with a decorated concrete and handmade tiles have been included shaping blue frames around the windows.
A key aspect of the project has been the choice of colors: blue and white are the dominant tones for furnishings and fabrics.
With the purpose of giving a more intimate and cozy feeling also in the outdoor design, antique wood fans and wicker chandeliers have been used.
